Hi DLM127,

Thank you very much for your post, I finally got the rotten little connector apart and the HO2S sensor off the vehicle thanks to your advice.

I was actually able to resurrect the sensor and all is good DownUnder again (even if the "H" bit is broken).

I have written up my saga incase others may find it useful.

Again a very big thanks to Rhinoman and the others who responded to my various posts.

Cheers...Bob

Hi Bob

They can become a little stuck over time, but lift the tab and pull the center of the connector (not the wires)G13BB_HO2S_Sensor_1.jpg

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to disconnect the electrical coupler on the G13BB HO2S Sensor?

It is stuck behind the engine between the head and the firewall. It is extremely difficult to get at. The sensor has a green coupler body, the main harness loom has a grey body. There is a lock tab that seems to need to be pressed in with a screwdriver or similar, but I have tried pushing and lifting to no avail. See attached photo (nearly impossible to get this shot too!)

Cheers...Bob
