ok so i think this control unit is a feed back system for the carburator. this controls the ABCV (AIR BLEED CONTROL VALVE) so there are 2 vacuum lines that goes to carburator maybe anyone knows where it is supposed to go ?

still looking for an fsm for this. apparently seems to me that not all super carry were equiped with this control module. also im trying to figure out how the control unit controls the idle mixture. since my engine is a f10a i dont see any other idle mixture solenoid or stepper motor on the carburator itself. how ever there seems to be a stepper motor of some sort but its routed to the canister and air cleaner. il take photos and post it here in case anyone knows how it works. also i have checked my control module and there is a cut resistor R100 is missing from your photo it seems like it value is 20k 1/2 watt resistor. I just got the super carry and do not really know the history of the vehicle. any info on this would be great. also tying to figure out the acronym of the ones inside the box like A/C1, A/C2 FCM and etc...

thanks

Have you looked on www.rhinoman.org for an FSM?

Hi, any more info on this ecu? I have the same exact ecu on my super carry. Been having problem with engine hesitation. I can't find a manual anywhere. Never thought carburator would have an ecu

Thats quite interesting, are there any numbers on the IC? the controller also has a 38860 part number rather than a 39920 number like ECUs usually have.

This is '88 carbed samurai controller. Only one analogue IC on the board, so it's hard to call it ECU ;)
Sorry for picture quality.

We had a similar carb on the 1992 Vitara as well. I wouldn't mind seeing the inside of the Sammy ECU.

I have somewhere such carb samurai ECU, but I think this is some analogue circuit.

Never opened this, but I can search for it if you want.

This is an ECU for a carburetor equipped Super Carry with the 1ltr four cylinder engine. The controller used feedback from a lambda sensor and a mixture control solenoid on the carb to tune the air fuel ratio:

Super Carry ECU - carb

The ECU is Aisin branded but is obviously made by Fujitsu Ten and uses a Ten branded microcontroller. I don't have any details on this chip as yet it may well be a Fujitsu device or another Motorola clone.
