Update: I just spoke to Launchtech, and they said I can only purchase the full X431 setup, worth $1600...

May have no choice but to go to the dealer for diagnostics.

Sorry, follow up question:

Would it work for me to purchase a launchtech X431 adaptor + XL7 software via the EZDiag app?

A 2004 model will be a Suzuki implementation of KWP2000, you would need Suzukis SDT tool to read the data.

Hi everyone,

I’ve got a 2004 XL-7, with H27a motor, Australian model.

I’ve been reading through this site, but haven’t been able to look at the hardware tab (404 error)

But from what I understand, a standard OBD cable won’t work for me, I need to get Rhinoman’s custom adaptor. Is this correct? And if so, how can I get one?
