My GV has HO2S sensor and EGR and really that's not a problem, in my country there is no emission control for cars, so no need to worry about passing a test or something similar. The fuel is free (a liter of 95 octane gasoline costs $ 0.15), so consumption is not a problem here.

The features of my GV are:

No immobilizer

No CKP sensor (uses the time setting resistor)

CAM Sensor

Double ignition coil (A coil guns in the cylinder # 1 and # 4, and the other in the cylinder # 2 and # 3)

MAF Sensor

EGR

MPI Injection

But I think maybe my model is not OBD2

I could find a ECU for 1.6, but according to the diagram have much more pins that do not exist in my current ECU (besides that I have not got the pinout of my current ECU), this ECU is an example   (33920-66D2 for 1.6 MT):

Thanks and Regards

Suzuki use the same connectors for a number of ECUs but it does not mean that they are compatible, in many cases the ECU will be damaged by plugging it into the wrong harness. Another J20 or possibly J16 ECU may work, do you have emissions equipment fitted to your vehicle?

I've gotten several ECU connectors like the one I have:

This is for a tracker / sidekick 4x4 MT 1.6, only missing a single 6-pin connector (which only has 4 wires in my GV):

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-Geo-Tracker-Engine-Computer-ECU-ECM-1-6L-MT-33920-71E11-E2T44271-4X4-2-Door-/161003208997?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item257c8a0125&vxp=mtr

This one has the 4 connectors. Is identical to my ECU! But AT models only:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/98-Geo-Tracker-Suzuki-Sidekick-ECU-ECM-Engine-Computer-1-6L-33920-72E90-30019943-/330839231195?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ATracker&hash=item4d078e0adb&vxp=mtr

Any info / suggestion? Pinout's diagram?

My GV is dead, and my ECU doesn't appear in no place. Maybe i need to adapt another ECU, or convert my GV to carb hehe.

Hi Rhino,  In SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICE MANUAL for the Canvas Top Model, I could see that the ECU pinout shown in the manual is the same as my GV, in the attached images you can see what I mean.

You will have knowledge of any other ECU with this pinout?

Rhino - the difference is more than just the last digit - one is a 66DS1, the other a 65DS2

I don't have any information on either ECU but usually the last digit represents a minor change to the design so I would expect the S2 to work OK but I can't guarantee that.

This is my GV!

I saw a ECU with the part number 33920-65DS2 (mine is 33920-66DS1), uses the same wiring harness, the salesman told me it was a GV manual 4x4, 4 cylinder but not sure if it was G16 or J20.

Do not know if this computer can work just

Your VIN is not recognised by the Suzuki Worldwide parts database, nor does it appear on my list of VINs. All I can tell from that is that it was built in South America, because it starts with an 8. Is your vehicle the same shape as the early Vitaras or the same as the 1998 on GVs that were sold in the rest of the world?

Here is the pictures of the wiring harness, it's very similar to baleno, but my ECU has a extra wiring harness plug, (baleno has only 3). Also some 8V Vitaras  uses the same wiring harness of my ECU (but they are TBI). Some MX3 and MX5 uses the same wiring harness too.

It's possible to use a Baleno ECU? (it's the same engine), i can't find in no place the description of my wiring harness (i don't know if the baleno wiring harness uses the same pinout)

Yes the main relay must switch on to get power to the CEL and fuel pump relay

Ok, i think i can sent  the ECU, but i need to be sure that the ecu is faulty (i think is "OFF"), no CEL when switch ON, no fuel pump sound, i  tested the wiring harness from ECU and one pin shows voltage when the ignition switch is ON. Other pins also shows voltage.

The CEL light needs signal from main relay to turn on?

I may be able to fix it but without knowing what the problem is then I can't say for sure, almost everything except a bad processor is fixable. The usual cost for a repair is £45 plus return shipping but it will be more if the cost of replacement components is high.

Hi, im looking for a replace for my ECU 33920-66DS , but i can't find any reference for this ECU, it's from a Grand Vitara 1.6 4x4 2 Door model, with G16B Engine of the 2002 year.

Some information:

Chip: MH7202F

PCB Number: JE331B30704B

At start the ECU overfuel the injectors few days ago, but now, they don't have  injector/coil pulse, the main relay doesn't activate, so the fuel pump is not working . No CEL light before this new fail.

Images below.

Thanks for your help!
