I'm working on a prototype daughterboard for ther 57B series and a TunerPro definition. One of the intentions is to be able to provide a conversion to a different airflow meter as the 57B00 AFM is getting hard to source.

Its been a while since I looked at the 57B range of ECUs but I have now cracked the 42-pin Denso processor.

The 57B30 uses a 57B00 AirFlow Meter (AFM), sometimes also refered to as a VAF (Volume Air Flow) meter.

AFM data:

Valid range is approx.  0.7V -> 4.85V, limp home default is approx 1210 litres/min

Volts    Litres/min
1.0 = 1066.7
1.5 = 466.7
2.0 = 258.3
2.5 = 166.7
3.0 = 116.7
3.5 = 83.3
4.0 = 58.3
4.5 = 50
