I've created a page for this with a link to the F6 binary - I'm told that the original link doesn't work, although it seems OK at the moment.

Both F6 in this thread are from Cultus GTI correct?

When i try this ECU on my friend's swift gti didn't work... Maybe due to the knock sensor that european swifts dosen't have correct?

OK, I see the difference, this is a issue 0 F6 ECU, Swifted's is an issue 3. They must have made a few changes to the Cultus ECU, its not common for an ECU to go to more than one revision.

I'm not sure about this, the pics that Swifted posted show a firmware revision DO_17 A1, the version embedded in the firmware posted is Y9K_D010. Maybe this isn't an F6 file?
First look shows that this binary uses Fuel map 1 only, I need to look for the knock code next.

Edit: RPM limit is at 8176

The knock stuff may not take long to find, there is a whole bunch of components centred around IC13 that isn't on the F5 or I2 PCBs. The O2 stuff should be similar to the I2 ECU. The processor board is the same as the F5 so it doesn't look like there is any diagnostic capability. Can you please email me a higher quality picture of the area around IC13?

to socket it would not be much a task for me to do. It actually looks like someone tried to remove the EPROM, but didn't know how. My dad and I want to try and trace where the Knock Sensor goes, but we don't have any info on it in any of the service info we have. The O2 Sensor & diagnostics interface(?) are other areas we'd like to get into as well.

The Cultus ECU should have a knock sensor input, it would be good to have the binary from that one. Its a pity that it hasn't been socketed.

Hey Guys, it's been a while since I have been on here, but I just had to come and show you what I came across recently. A JDM Cultus ECU

Here are the Photos I took of it from every angle!

I hope this can help with figuring out the differences... I'm gonna try hard to get it from the guy who loaned it to me.
