Hello guys,

I discovered the Suzuki Vitara when we had to buy a car after our previous one broke down. I had absolutely no idea about the Vitara, good or bad car, I didn't care. Finally, on june last year, I bought a old 1996 Mk1, G16B engine, EFI multipoint, with AT Aisin 4 speed gearbox.

Since then, I discoverded a very friendly car, fun to drive, and most of it, simply design. For the first time, I realized that you can do a lot of work by yourself on a car (I am mostly a bike rider, so I don't know much about servicing a car).

I also found that this little funny 4x4 was "rust friendly" and that I needed to learn a bit more about this car if I wanted to keep it alive by myself, without spending twice the price of the car in body repair.

So, after internet researches (and thanks to french Vitaramania website), I found the RhinoPower website, a place you must visit if you want to know more about your Zuki. Downloaded every manual I could, read the nearly 2000 pdf pages of service manuals this site offers, and started to enjoy working on a car. After fixing small issues, I eventually decided to disassemble the whole car and do some major invisible work (chassis, under body, electrical, breaks...). I hope do so during this summer...

So, thanks again for letting anyone to access this amazing knowledge database about the Vitara. Great job ! wink
