OK, thank you.  I will pop it in the post back to your address in UK.

That ECU is a bit of an oddity, it uses the same ID as the earlier OBD1 ECU but returns blank data. Other EOBD/OBD2 ECUs have unique numbers, I have seen this before.

Thank you.  unfortunately it looks like I will have to return it for a refund.  I was really hoping that it was going to work! Under the view menu RV says the ECU ID is "1902".

If you have pin 7 populated then the ECU will communicate using the SDL/KWP protocol, the SDL interface is only compatible with the earlier SDL protocol that works on pin 9. You can return the interface for a refund, you are covered by the distance selling act. Does RV display an ECU ID? you will need to go to the 'View' menu and select 'ECU iD'.

I am trying to get Rhinoview to talk to the ECU on my Suzuki Grand Vitara XL7, V6 2.7L  2001.  The ECU number is 33920-52D9.  The connector is a 16 pin with wires on pins 4, 5 7, 9 and 16.  Upon following the help guide I can get it to say "Connected to ECU" but the dashboard is blank with no information or data.  Is anybody able to indicate what the issue might be and what needs to be done to get it to "see" the data from the ECU
