No OBD1 does not report that, you have to deduce it from the data. When you disconnect the MAF does the O2 voltage become stable or continue to switch?

The closed loop/open loop flag is used by EOBD/OBD2 and is not the same, if you have a fault code then you will not enter closed loop. O2S activated will be active once the O2 sensor is fully warmed up, your FSM should tell you under what conditions closed loop will be active. In most cases you will be able to observe that the O2 sensor voltage will become stable, however this is not always the case in limp mode or fail safe.

It make me a bit confuse.

Today I make a test with MAF disconnected (you may see MAF stuck at 4g/s all the time with low RPM or high RPM).
In this situation, ECU will enter to Open Loop, but as you may see, O2 activated status still ON, all the time :( :(

Where exactly I can see the Open/Close loop status?

Low RPM, MAF disconnected (4g/s), O2 activated ON

Capture LowRPM.GIF

High RPM, MAF disconnected (4g/s), O2 activated still ON

Capture vhigh rpm.GIF

On the early models open/closed loop status is called O2S Active. RPM control will only work if the vehicle is stationary with the idle switch closed and the engine at normal operating temperature. The reset ECU function is not very well documented by Suzuki, I look at that again.

Hi Rhino
I have just purchase SDL cable from your site which work well with our ECU (ID: 1202) but there are 2 issues:
1. I cannot find Open/Close loop status.
2. I cannot control Actuator (I.e cannot set target IDLE RPM)

In additional, Reset ECU function always result failed although the ECU was reset as all failed code was disappeared.

Please help especially in Open/Close loop status as it is the main reason for me to get Official cable.
