Thanks. Can you tell me how to send KWP initialization sequence? I have experience using hyperterminal ands modem commands. Thanks again.

Once you send the KWP intialisation sequence you need to send 0100. If you get a 7F response then it is not OBD2 and you need a SDL/KWP interface, I don't currently have an interface that supports this protocol. A South American model is most likely SDL/KWP

One more thing. I have a ELM327 bluetooth adapter. I connect it and try to use torque without sucess. I have some experience in AT Commands. Do you know what AT commands can use (sending direcly from com to ECU) for a) verify a proper ODB2 response, b) Verify is it SLD/KDM interface?

It was built for latin american market (It was bought in Peru).


Tell me, if it is SLD/KWP protocol, can I use your cable and your software? or it is not suitable?

Thank you again for any thought. Is very frustrating cant connect to my ECU.

Its either OBD2 or OBD1 using SDL/KWP, what market was it built for?
